The Apollo Theater is a large venue on Chicago's North Side that is the home of The Sparrow, "Among the very best original theater pieces" according to Jones of the Chicago Tribune. Past productions housed at the Apollo include Menopause, The Musical, Always Patsy Cline and The Vagina Monologues.

The Apollo is also the home of Emerald City Theatre, a children's theater company.
