I had a great time at the dance stage. I thought the instructor was the best. Got my execerise for the day! Hopefully, next year the tent will be located in a more prominent spot and not behind the food court.

The festival will take place outside of Soldier Field, not inside. You can bring chairs and/or blankets, but be prepared to stand because of the expected crowds.

Does anyone know how this will work? Is it INSIDE Soldiers field? Where are the stages? One of the best parts of the old festival was setting up lawn chairs and hanging out all day - this new gig sounds like a stand up and walk around kind of thing - does anyone know the specifics?

I am intersted in going to this, however I am patiently awaiting to see who is all going to be playing. As the other two posts state this is not very well put together. I will check back at the end of August, by then hopefully you will have more information on the event.

I can't understand why one of the BEST festivals of the summer would be moved to fall. How does this work? Do we have seats in Soldier Field? is there Field access? Sounds to me like this has not been thought out. You can't even find out who the headliners are yet. None of this boads well for a sucsessful event. Very Sad.

I am very disapointed that the Country fest has been moved to Oct. Who in the world wants to go to a fest in October when the weather is chancey..I was going to the taste for the 10th year in a row..But Not now..No need for me to go now..So sad
