I was just driving by and saw the sign hot dogs. How lucky can one guy get.awsome hot dog. I can,t wait until summer so I can eat one while sitting on the hood of my car. As good as it gets.

I also just learned about this place and I think it is great. I consider myself a Chicago Hot Dog Traditionalist and like how they keep things focused and simple. To the previous poster, it's not the size of the hot dog, but the way you handle the condiments. I actually prefer regular hot dogs like these to jumbo dogs. And if it's more meat you want, there's always the double dog.

Great hot dog. I loved Genes an Judes hot dogs, and have been eating them since the days of the "Whale." Would walk next door, and eat a couple of dogs with fries, and go home and sleep like a baby. Now I do not get there very often, but was surprised to see this new place in Lake Zurich pop up. Reminds me totally of Genes and Judes, but much much cleaner. My hot dog with fries was awesome. Being that I live ten minutes away, I can now have a great hot dog everyday if I want without having to use a tank of gas to get there. If you like hot dogs, I recommend stopping in and trying one, you wont be disappointed.

TERRIBLE!
Hot dogs were small & tough - fries were greasy and too few! Possibly the worst hot dog we've ever eaten! We anxiously awaited the opening of the restaurant and are greatly disappointed

I just found this place and glad I did. They have a good hot dog and the kind of fries I used to have to go to the city for. At a couple bucks for a dog and fries I think they'll see me at lunch there a lot.
