Walking into Bonne Sante feels more like walking into a modern, plush family room than a grocery store. With down tempo music and clerks laughing with/at customers, asking for help is like getting advice from a trusted uncle. Can't eat gluten? You can buy harder-to-find items like wheat-free pizza, wheat-free beer and wheat-free wheat here. One customer, fresh from a dentist appointment, was recommended a chlorophyll-fennel mouthwash to help prevent infection.

The fully packed store layout lends itself more to relaxed ambling than a harried, last-minute quest for dinner. But this organic grocery, juice bar, "clean" body care and vitamin supplement store won't disappoint. We like the in-house smoothie bar ourselves.
